Studio Rules & Regulations
| For Students: |
- Bow to the flag, Masters, Instructors, higher belts and each other.
- Put your shoes and socks away.
- Changing room: Put your clothes away neatly. Do not touch other people’s things.
- In Class:
Students need to ask permission to leave the mat during class.
No talking during class.
No drinking water during class.
- Dobok (uniform) & belt arrangement: Keep your dobok clean.
- Arrive 5 minutes before class.
- Return things to their proper place.
- Throw cups and trash away. Keep the studio clean.
- Students must sit down and wait at the back of the mat for their class to start. They must not interrupt class while it is in lesson.

| For Parents: |
- Please observe the following rules so that students may have the best training.
- The mat for students only.
- Parents must ask permission from the instructor for the student to leave class early.
- Talking and loud noises are disruptive. Please be quiet.
- Please pick up your children promptly after lessons. We are concerned for their safety and cannot be responsible for the children waiting outside the studio.
No smoking in the Dojang (Studio) area. |
Bowing
What is the bow?
The bow is an Oriental form of greeting.
Why do we bow?
We bow to show sincerity & respect (It gives a courteous & humble mind)
How do we bow?
We bend oat the waistand look at the ground in front of the person we show respect to.
When do we bow?
We bow when we arrive or leave the studio, at the beginning and closing of class, when entering or leaving the mat, to the flag, to the masters and to the instructors.
