When do I test for my next rank (belt level)?
We have a promotional test every two months. At which time you must have attended a minimum of 10 classes since your first day and you must have permission from an instructor. Your requirements for the promotion exam are posted on the wall under your current belt level study guide. You should also know the physical requeriments taught you during class time.
What is Tae Kwon Do?
The literal meaning or translation is “Foot, Hand, Art”. However, Tae Kwon Do means much more than kicking and punching. It is a non-violent art that physically conditions the entire body and teaches a peaceful way of life.
I missed some class time due to work or school, can I make up the missed lesson?
If for any reason you fall behind and need some assistance talk to master Rafael so he may schedule a time for an instructor to assist you in getting caught up with the rest of your classmates.
General Information:
Holiday Schedule
Information of all school holidays on the bottom of our class schedule. There are times when we will have open practice rather than the regular structured classes. If there are any changes in the regular schedule the instructure will male any announcements before dismissiong classes.
Vacations or extended absences
If you will not be able to attend one class or more for vacation or illness, please notify Master Rafael. The time you miss may be added to the end of your program or made up on your return.
Sparring
Students are allowed to start sparring after they reach the rank of orange belt. Then, due to mandatory insurance regulations all students who will be attending sparring class must have proper equipment ask Master Rafael for more information.
