In order to serve you better we made a little change on our schedule please make a note about it.
The Brazilian Jiu jitsu classes will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00pm to 8:00pm all colors all ages and the Friday sparring class will change from 7:00pm to 8:00pm all color belts all ages.
June 7, 2008 - Black Belt Test
I'm glad to share with all of you the results of the last Black Belt test for: Alexia, Tania, Michael, Trevor & Tyler. After 6 months of preparation just for the test itself and 4 years trainning they finally reach their goal to become a Black Belt. The test went very well with them been a little nervious at the begging and exhausted at last but with a great average from the judges.
Thanks to Marisol C., Jesus G., Norine N. for testing these kids and making sure they reach the WTF requirements. Also thank you Salvador M. Rachel T. and Marie R. for assisting as well.

I'm very happy to participate that my senior grand master Young Gi Jeon, president of the peruvian tae kwon do federation has been named Executive Director of the panamerican tae kwon do union a great acomplishment for a great grand master.

Swallow's Day Parade
As you know every year in March we participate on the Swallow's Day Parade in San Juan Capistrano. And as usual we do a little demostration along the walk by the higher color belts. I will like to thank all the students who participated on this event and all your entusiasm shown also the parents who helped out and let their kids be part of it.
It was a nice and sunny day on the mile walk with all color belts students and all ages, besides the long waiting period, the fatige and the long walk everybody did a great job, staying until the end showing that we are about discipline and really a family keeping the spirit of " The Black Belt Tae Kwon Do Academy".

Master Rafael Sanchez participated on the beach trainning session by professor Flavio Almeida in his quest to get a BlackBelt in Brazilian Jiu jitsu, as you know we are an afilliated studio of Gracie Barra a jiu jitsu school that was founded by Master Carlos Gracie in Brazil many years ago and now have more than 100 studios all around the world. We are currently offering brazilian jiu jitsu lessons for kids over 10 years old and adults 2 times a week following the Gracie Barra curriculum for more info contact us or try a free class, martial arts are changing and we are changing with them.
Here are some pictures of the trainning session with Master Rafael Sparring, other with professor Flavio Almeida and another one with Renato"Babalu" Sobral recently promoted to Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu jitsu and one of the best fighters around the world if he looks familiar it's because you might had seen him on the UFC before or on one of his many amazing fights.
