Master Rafael Sanchez, who is from Lima, Peru, started his martial career at an early age in the mid 80's. He is a 5th degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do certified by Kukkiwon under Grand Master Young Gi Jeon, former president of the Peruvian Tae Kwon Do federation. He has more than 30 years of experience in the art, coaching and instructing at all levels.
A former member of the Peruvian national team in 1996, Master Sanchez was also a Tae Kwon Do team member of the "Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru" in 1998 and subsequently a team member of the "Universidad de Lima" from 1999 to 2003. Master Rafael Sanchez won many tournament competitions in Tae Kwon Do, he later married and moved to Southern California where he continues to train and teach with the same energy and dedication as he used when competing.
Master Rafael Sanchez is also a third degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Marcio Feitosa.
